A Moment of Silence

On Monday, April 16th, the worst shooting massecre occured at Virginia Tech. Some here had family that go there, or live close by themselves. Some had friends, while others of us knew no one there personally.

This act is not something that could have been predicted, it is not something that could happen there alone. This is something that could have happened on any school campus, on any work site.

My heart and soul goes out to the families of the victims of the sensless shootings. 32 innocents lost their lives that day. May their souls be at peace.

Please upon reading this, take a moment of silence, and remember the students and teachers that started their day....just like any other....only to have it, and their lives, end far too soon.

So many of us take life for granted and pursue each day as if life will never end. Life is very precious and none of us really understand this until it is far too late.

The students and teachers of Virginia Tech have had a trajedy occur that will cause people to stop and think about how precious life really is. Avoiding trajedy is where to start...don't wait for tragedy to occur before you take a look at your life and loved ones and remind yourself and them that you love them. We need to always look at life as a precious commodity and protect it dearly.

To all the families who have lost love ones...my heart goes out to each and every one of them. To the victims who are still in the hospital my prayers are with you to heal quickly.

He finally releases the limp form of his opponent, and almost collapses backwards in the corner of the ring, a look of almost extacy over his face. Mayhem then lays down and rolls out of the ring, putting on the Dragon mask and holding the World Title and Kendo stick in the air before exiting through the crowd.*
